Jeff Yass Pumps $1.25M Into 2025 Election Cycle. Yass-Tied PACs Mount Supreme Court Power Grab.
“Jeff Yass isn’t interested in justice, he’s interested in control.”
PENNSYLVANIA – New campaign finance filings reveal Jeff Yass pumped another $1.25 million into his network of political PACs in August, routing money through Students First PAC. Commonwealth Partners PAC, another key player in Yass’s political machine, has already begun running ads in Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court retention election.
Arielle Klagsbrun, Pennsylvania Campaign Director with ACRE and member of the All Eyes On Yass campaign, released the following statement:
“Jeff Yass is following the same playbook Republican billionaires used in Wisconsin, where Elon Musk and his cronies tried, and failed, to buy the courts. Yass is already hoarding billions at the top – his wealth has increased 400% since COVID – and he’s pouring it into our state Supreme Court to rewrite the rules and grab unlimited power.”
“This is the same billionaire agenda that’s already hurting families across Pennsylvania: kicking 10 million people off Medicaid, forcing kids to go hungry without school lunch, shutting down hospitals, and racially profiling our immigrant neighbors. Jeff Yass knows the Pennsylvania Supreme Court is one of the last strong defenses against his plans to defund public schools, give more handouts to corporations and push an extreme right-wing agenda.
“Jeff Yass isn’t interested in justice, he’s interested in control. While federal courts have sold us out, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has stood tall – protecting healthcare, challenging injustice, and defending our right to vote. For Yass, spending millions on judges is pocket change – about the cost of a venti Starbucks latte for the median Pennsylvania family. For us, the Court decides our healthcare, our schools, our rights, and whether our votes count. It’s not just three court seats at stake, it’s whether our justice system belongs to the people or to the billionaires trying to buy them.”
